Getting Paid before shipping?

1.  Unless you are a long time seller we require you to contact us on Yahoo or MSN Instant message and use your computer cam to show us the phone and your id.  If everything checks out we can pay your 1/2 of the value of your phone plus shipping costs immediately through Paypal.

2.  Once you have become a trusted established seller we can pay you 100% up front including shipping.

How do we work?

1. Locate your cell phone, by manufacturer and model, in the list.  If it isn't there give us a call or email us and we can give you a quote.

2 Ship your cell phone(s) and battery to us and charger if you have them.  Make sure you include your contact information... Name, phone, address, email and quoted price.

 


If my cell phone is not on the list will you still purchase it?

While we monitor the cell phone market daily, we may have inadvertently failed to list an item that is still of value; If you have a newer phone that is not listed or have a question about any cell phone's value, please contact us to inquire if it is a model we buy.


How long does it take to get my check?

Payment will be sent by mail within 2 weeksof the receipt of the cell phones (gives us time to evaluate your phone) or we can pay you with paypal.


Do I need to send the SIM Card with my phone? Are the memory card and the SIM card the same?

No. The SIM card contains your personal information along with your address book. It is not necessary to send the SIM card in with the phone. The memory card is used to share downloads, pictures, games, ring tones, etc.  If your phone requires a memory card, we need it along with the phone to make a test call.

 


Do you track stolen cell phones?

We do not track stolen cell phones, but we keep a record of esn numbers of the phones that we purchase so a stolen phone can be cross checked. We also work with law enforcement agencies and report suspicious activity.


What if I'm unsure if the phone is in "acceptable condition"?

We will gladly evaluate any accepted model phone you send in and give you a quote for a non working phone if it does not pass our evaluation.


What if I want my cell phone back?

Once the phones have been received by Rimrock Enterprises they will be returned only if we no longer purchase the phone. Those phones can be returned at the owner's expense or we can recycle them for free.


How many cell phones can I sell to Rimrock Enterprises?

There is no limit on the amount of phones you can sell to us.  We have people that actually collect phones from their local area and sell to us on a regular basis.  You would be suprised how many people will just give you their used phones since they are of no value to them.  We also have organizations(schools, clubs, churches, etc)  that raise money by doing used phone drives and then sell the phones to us.


What if my cell phone has a few dings and scratches but still works, will you accept it?

Absolutely! As long as the phone will make a test call, has a clear ESN/DEC #, working speaker and mic, good LCD and will power up, we will pay you for it. If the phone has extra features like a camera, they should be functional as well.

Cosmetic condition will have no effect on whether the phone will be purchased or not.


What if my cell phone is broken and cannot be repaired, will you still pay me for it?  Yes we will as long as it has not been water damaged or completely crushed.


What if I accidentally send you the wrong phone?

It's important that you identify and enter the proper manufacturer and model number when you make your transactions. Double check your information before you submit it. If there is a discrepancy in your transaction, a Rimrock Enterprises  representative will contact you.


What if my phone has a personal lock code?

If your phone has a personal lock code, please unlock the phone or send the code along with the phone. The technicians cannot test a phone with a lock code activated, therefore the transaction cannot be completed and your phone will be disqualified.


How do I ship my phone?

Shipping your phone(s) is the best part next to getting your money. You can easily take your phone to the local post office, any shipping center such as, UPS, FEDEX, DHL and have it shipped for $2 to $4 dollars. In most cases they will package it for you. If you choose to use your own packing materials, it can cost as little as $1.50. It is that simple.


What if the prices you pay for the phones change after I send my phones in?

Once a transaction has been made for a specific price, that price will be honored if the transaction/order was made before the price change. A price change will not impact a transaction unless a period of 30 days has passed since the transaction/order was first made.

Any phones received 30 days after a price change will be reflected the new amount.
